Leila Mofid (b. 1985) embarked on her artistic journey from early childhood under several teachers. Exploring the potentials of ceramics and pottery in Ms. Maryam Salour’s studio was significantly influential in shaping her artistic character. After studying graphics in art school, she acquired a more serious approach to painting by attending Mr.Pouya Aryanpour’s masterclasses.

The immensity and the infinity of the cosmos, light and its many manifestations and mountains as embodiments of majesty and purity have always inspired her works. She usually employs phosphorescent and fluorescent mediums in her paintings. Leila has held 2 solo exhibitions and has participated in several group shows.
